N-Step Dance Center is conveniently located off of exit 9N in Hooksett, NH, at 1134 Hooksett Rd. It is in the same building as Sherwin Williams Paint (access the N-Step parking lot by driving behind the building. The long driveway/access road is on the left side of the building). From the N-Step Website: "Our Hooksett location, is a brand new facility and opened September 2011. This location is on the 2nd floor with ... air conditioning. There are multiple studios.... each studio has viewing capability. All of our classrooms ... are equipped with floating floors, the same floors utilized by the Boston Ballet and The New York City Ballet. The quality of the floor... is of the utmost importance and our floors have tremendous impact absorption, which in turn assists in preventing injuries." Singles and couples of all ages and dance abilities are welcome at Queen City Ballroom. We cultivate a positive attitude and respectful nature which is reflected in the way our students treat each other. Are you a newcomer? Watch out... someone may just insist on taking you onto the dance floor to show you a new step!
We have a wide range of dance opportunities for beginner to advanced students, including group and private lessons.
DVIDA Certified Instructor Karen Shackleford will make you feel welcome, and answer any questions you may have. Karen's 20+ years of dance instruction experience makes her a 'go-to' resource in planning your dance education. She'll listen to your goals, and map out the approach that best suits you. You may choose from group lessons (membership), wedding dance and private lessons. Rest assured that you will not be subjected to any high-pressure sales tactics, contracts, or expensive package plans. That's a Queen City Ballroom promise!
