Nightclub Two-Step, not to be confused with country western twostep, is a versatile and practical slow dance done to ballads.

It was developed in the late 1960's by Buddy Schwimmer. It is perfect for use on crowded nightclub floors, and it is often the best choice for many wedding songs and other slow, romantic, contemporary tunes.

Nightclub Two-step is the dancers' alternative to the "cuddle and sway".
