Are you planning to attend the April 13th Radisson Dance Party? Do you have some gently-used or never-used dance attire in your closet that you would like to sell? Please bring it with you to the event! There are some specific rules to follow if you'd like to have the option to sell your items.

 

Only people who have purchased tickets to and are attending the event may sell clothing there.

 

Each item must be hung on a hanger (if clothing) or placed in a shoe box (if shoes). No other types of items will be accepted (no jewelry, no CDs, no hair ornaments, etc.).

 

A tag must be attached to each item with the size and price of the item and the seller's name. Tags are provided below in a downloadable document. 

 

Each item must have a fixed price (e.g. no "best offer" or "negotiable").

 

Guests at the event may peruse the items on display and directly deal with the item's owner if they wish to purchase (cash only) something. If the purchaser does not know the owner, Karen will help make the connection by calling the owner to the desk. All items that remain unsold at the end of the event MUST be removed by those who brought them in. No items may be left behind on racks/tables. Please observe the rules below for the permissible type and condition of items. Queen City Ballroom and the Radisson Hotel accept no responsibility for items lost or stolen, so please do not bring in pricey items. 

 

 

 

• Only formal wear (gowns, tuxes), or dance costumes. Casual and business attire not accepted.

• Shoes must be specifically for dance wear (suede soles), and in nearly-new or new condition.

• Only GENTLY WORN garments should be brought in

• Items must be freshly laundered or dry cleaned

• No stains, rips, pilling, fading or obvious mending

• All zippers, buttons, and snaps must be working

For each garment, print and fill out a copy of the tag, below, and affix it to the garment.
