My husband and I had never danced together before our wedding so we decided to take lessons to learn our first dance. The lessons were very clear, step by step instructions, and weren't too long or too short. We took 10 lessons which was perfect for us as we had no idea what we were doing. I went from completely unsure of ourselves to confident that our dance would go great.
On the day of our wedding, everyone said the dance looked great and cheered us on when he had me spin. It really was the perfect dance for us and we couldn't have done it without Queen City Ballroom.

Karen with Queen City Ballroom was an excellent dance instructor! She fully prepared us for our first dance, both by demonstrating the dance moves and by helping us keep the beat of the music. She was precise, patient, and accommodating.
Our wedding dance held the audience captive, and they broke into wild applause when we did our under-arm turns and dips! Thanks, Karen, for teaching us how to make our first dance so memorable and elegant!

My Dad and I definitely met our goal in preparing for the wedding dance. Karen was extremely patient, helpful, and knew just how to relate to us and communicate using our learning styles. This really helped us to maximize our time and efforts, allowing us to learn what we needed in a short amount of time :)
Everyone loved the dance!! They were super impressed and thought we had been dancing together for a long time (even though we hadn't). It was fun, easy, and definitely a surprise to family and friends :)

There was never a doubt of which song we wanted to be "our song". However, something that was a little scary, was the beat. It wasn't too slow and it wasn't too fast so how in the world do you dance to that?? We didn't want to look silly so we started researching lessons. When we found Queen City Ballroom we were so excited. The cost was very reasonable for private lessons and it was pretty close to home! I was very nervous our first visit, but Karen made us so comfortable. You can see her passion in dance. Our lessons came and left and the wedding was here. People loved the surprise of our first dance. They said it was like watching Dancing With the Stars! It was such a fun, and unforgettable moment in our lives and we wouldn't have done it without Queen City Ballroom.
